So i got a few hours on a little idea today.
It's all about Hiring sirens in to your choir of death.
You conduct the sirens voices to attract poor fishermen in to danger, aiming to cause the most damage on all the passing fishermen.
It'll be controllable by with either mouse or touchscreen.

I'll get some screenshots when it starts to come together a bit more.

Hey, thanks! We'll see how it goes.
Listening to the ridiculous Fishing soundtrack is proving to be productive.
All I have at the moment is an untextured boat bobbing about, and some water art wise, but its really shaping up otherwise now.

Quick update, did a bit of UI work, and got some prelim art in.
Sorting out the game UI flow at the moment.
Then I need to tweak the boats so their movement is more intuitive.

My teammate has done some super cool designs which I've whacked in for now, while the color and animation is being created.

It's looking more pretty now, but its still got a long way to go to be fun.
Heres what the tile screens looking like.

Title Screen. I've added a little border for devices with diff aspect ratios.

Oh I've just been sent more art work, I'll share that in the next update.

My twitter is and my teammates is I'll try and keep it up to date with more fishjam goodness.

Bit more Work. Be warned a lot of this stuff probably wont make sense to anyone but me, its a collection of thoughts from tonight's progress, mainly experimenting with different control methods, siren positioning, and boat behaviors.

I'm almost happy with the boat movement, i still think it needs some time to mess with, it doesn't quite feel natural quite yet, also I've got multiple sirens singing at the same time. Unsure if this helps. it just seems to confuse matters.

I found in portrait, there wasn't enough horizontal space to properly control the ship with 3 Sirens, the middle one became useless. it did work well, with 2, but that seemed a little different from what I wanted, perhaps that would be a little too simple? I might come back to that idea another day.

Each boat has a desired pitch. Hitting that pitch with a siren will cause them to go towards the siren. being close to that pitch causes the boat to move towards the siren at a slower pace.
I'm thinking of having the pitch range of each siren be slightly different, so you kinda tune the siren to the sound you want.
Associating boat movement with different desired pitches means that players must control multiple boats, by switching the pitch of a siren according to the boat they need to control at the time.

I think the siren audio need more variance so they don't sound so bad in unison, (but again i might change it back to one singing at a time), I might manually pitch shift some files to a scale so everything is in tune, rather that whats there at the moment.

Also, I made a vine.

Here's todays screenie.

Now landscape.
