Fishy Rescue (Finished)

Premise:
Your a little fish in the big blue sea, fisherman have cast their nets and await their catch. However you can stop them and save your friends by breaking them out of their net cages and bring them back to saftey amongst the corals. But other dangers will threaten your friends as you try to lead them to their homes, such as bigger and larger fish which will try to gobble you and your friends up, or fishing lures which will try to catch you or your friends by enticing you to their hooks.

I am creating this game in:
MS Paint (not very good with GIMP :( )
C++
SDL

This is what i have so far and my sprite making skills are much to be desired, and the black lines are temp until all sprites are final :)

Done so far:

Fish follow player: :D
A school of fish is spawned when net is destroyed: :D
Fish get attracted to the coral when close and then move towards it: :D

To do:

Create a larger world: :(
Add bigger gobbling fish: :(
Add hooks and lures: :(
New sprites: :(

UPDATE:

The level has been made much bigger then it was before, with 3 depth of field buffers.
Changed a lot of the sprites.
I have added "scenery fish" which will just add something to the scene, and will scatter when the player is near them.
I have added some sprite animation for the net cracking open and fish eating.
The gobbler fish has been implemented, and will dash towards a fish if they are close enough eating them.
When the gobbler fish manages to catch a fish, they turn into a fish bones and float to the floor.

All finished, second game that i have ever made, is now completed :)

Controls:
W,A,S,D

Goals:
Save as many trapped fish in the nets, by bumping them open,
and take them down to the corals below.
But beware fish make tasty snacks.
