The Story of Bait Master Sean [FIN-ISHED]

This is where the games and development logs go! :D

The Story of Bait Master Sean [FIN-ISHED]

Here's the completed game which I've decided to use as the prequel for another bizarre game, "Versicolor".

The Story of Bait Master Sean is a minimally-interactive story about a guy who dreams he's being cast into the ocean by a worm. As he sinks lower
and lower into the depths, his dreams unfold and he makes discoveries both about the unexplored parts of the ocean and his own psyche.

Hope you enjoy! Feedback of any sort would be great! :)

The mix of old-school pixel art an trippy sound/visuals is pretty damned effective! Great work!

I'm curious about what you used to generate the prerecorded voice too.

Hey thanks for the comments, Beardo!

For the voices I'm using a little robot voice synth program called "Sayit". Many of the old-school sound effects in the game were done with that as well. It's a cool (+ free) tool that lets you punch in some text, then tweak the heck out of it. Just found it last week. Definitely going to be using it more often!

That's awesome, I'll definitely check it out since it would be perfect for a few different things I'm working on. Thanks for the info!

No probz! If you're interested in more lifelike voices, AT&T's got a good T2S too: http://www2.research.att.com/~ttsweb/tts/demo.php
