Untitled Harpooning Game

A few ideas:

Maybe you swim and fight fish with your bare hands?
Maybe something like Aether with Harpoons?
Something to do with luring/deception?

Anyway, hopefully I'll have something more concrete by the end of the day, Super excited!

Still untitled, but Harpoons!

Sorta started yesterday, but really started about an hour ago. So far, I've got aiming and throwing working, as well as the foam on the water moving slightly. Next fish...then fishing!

Quick update, since I'll probably be hitting the sack soon.
-Added some effects for when a harpoon hits the water (makes a splash and slows the harpoon down)
-Added the first fish! (As well as the infrastructure to add lots more types very quickly)
-The harpoon collides with the fish, causes a blood explosion, and the harpoon sticks in them

Next: Figuring out how to make a 2D rope, for reeling in. This could be tricky...

Also the fisher looks like he is doing the sprinkler in these shots, I like it

Just got on to shamefully post that I wasn't able to work on this project any more after the initial night. Lot's of work/family stuff going on, so I don't think I'll be able to come back to it for a few weeks at least... :(
